Jiří was my Aufguss trainer from the very beginning. He taught me the basics of waving, aromatherapy, DMX, music editing, and helped me create my first theatre aufgusses.
What I appreciated most about his teaching style was how much he involved “me” in the learning process. Rather than simply giving answers, he guided me with logic and encouraged me to figure things out on my own. He constantly challenged me to think independently, which helped me understand the topics on a much deeper level and remember them far better.

When it comes to waving, I especially value his focus on functionality. Jiří is one of the best in the world at heat distribution, and he made sure we understood that mastering the classic waving always comes first. At the same time, he kept training enjoyable by introducing fun tricks and encouraging us to experiment with new movements. That balance made the learning process much less frustrating – because, let’s be honest, mastering the basics is really hard! 🙂
Apart from having 18 years of experience and being one of the “OG’s”, Jiří is also an honest and straightforward teacher. He isn’t afraid to point out your mistakes, and I genuinely appreciate that. Constructive feedback is essential if you truly want to improve, and he always gives it with the goal of helping you become better.
So if you’re looking for an honest aufguss trainer who will not only teach you everything he knows but also help you understand the “why” behind it, I couldn’t recommend Jiří more.
